For Christmas I got two new books to add to the pile on my nightstand.
Aren't the covers alone just gorgeous!
Makes me want to get into my pajamas (oh, I am already wearing them..and I have been all day), make some tea, crank the heating blanket up and climb into bed.
If I am not reading my new books I will be working on an on-line art class I am taking from the super talented Misty Mawn.
I do not have a lot of extra time to take classes like this and I have been really looking forward to it.
Anyone else taking this class?
I have to admit that I am already behind on day two but I am ok with that!
What are you reading?
hmmm...classes? yes! i'm excited to be taking a photography class later this month. :) and i just started a really good book called "cleopatra's daughter"...i love historical fiction! have a great night :)

oh I just read the comment above. I checked out cleopatra's daughter. Haven't read it yet though. I'm supposed to read The Poisonwood Bible for bookclub. I haven't started it yet though. I'm doing the brave girls class. :) Enjoy your class and your books!

Looks great! I LOVE to read as well. Unlike some people, I buy alot of books, and reread them over and over again. Do you do that? I'm also a magazine junkie. I get them, tear out the ideas that spark my creativity, and put them into one large binder of ideas. How do you hold onto your creative muses?

Oh, I love For the Love Of Old.... such a beauty of a book! Right now, I'm rereading the Coconut Oil Miracle... there's so much jammed into that little book and Lucia Lucia. It's nice to get lost inside the pages...

My next book purchase is You Had me at Woof ~ I have a gift card I am just itching to use. No courses for me ~ I will be busy at the sewing machine making curtains as I am itching to start our master b/r makeover.

Love your nightstand reading choice, what a great Christmas gift. For the love of pld is great!! enjoy it as much as I do :)
Enjoy your art class Jeanne, although I am not sure you need the class, your work stands alone and needs no improvement.
Altering your own style with passion.

I should be taking this class...I just love her. JUST read about her last night in Somerset---she is a "family first" girl like us ladies and I appreciate that. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you!
I finished "The Happiness Project" and even emailed Gretchen for the resolutions chart..umm..not doing well (obviously) on the going to bed early one :)

Oh, I would love to take Misty's e-course, but just have no time (or energy :). I would love to take a course with her in person someday, which would be even better. Well, a girl can dream, right? p.s. do tell us all about it and show, show, show...

I am reading too many books to mention really....but the more exciting thing is that I am taking the on line Brave Girls class!!!! I am feeling overwhelmed by it and challenged by setting aside time just for me but I am BRAVE and I WILL do it!!! Your blog feels like an old friend and I am always so happy to return no matter how much time I have been away. xoxo

Good for you! Trying to decide between 3 online adventures: Misty's class, Dina Wakley's class/es, and Brave Girl. Not sure yet what I want to do....Brave Girl sounds great, but I really want something art-driven.
Though I normally don't comment, I do love your blog. Keep us updated on your experience in Misty's class :)
