Ok.
I would like to be clear that I am not talking about my own father.
Sure, he is a fine looking man, but I am not in the habit of calling him hot.
I am talking about Pa Ingalls.
What?
Like you haven't thought it!
I loved that show growing up and now my kids love it.
My sister's oldest child even likes to call her mom "Ma" and herself "Laura".
I also have to admit that for the life of me I can not watch that darn show without bawling.
BAWLING!!!
I am in the corner, in a fetal position, sucking my thumb...bawling.
How could those people cry every show on que???
I thought I needed to show my love for Pa!
Any man that can wear THOSE pants and still look good deserves some attention!
I seriously need counseling....seriously!
Great pictures! I can't say that I ever had a thing for Pa...but my Jason Bateman crush began when he played James Cooper on Little House...

i always thought he was cute too...i remember watching that show when i was little with my mother, grandmother, and sister...the four of us would ALL be bawling our eyes out...don't even get me started on "the waltons"...

Yup, Pa is hot. And that show is a tearjerker. How can you not cry when their house burns down?

Oh, yes, I definitely get what you are talking about. Hot! I used to watch the show growing up in Germany. They all spoke German, but still made all of us cry... Loved the books as well! :) Silke

it's a good thing i wasn't drinking coffee or it would have come right out my nose!
when i clicked to come over...my parental block came up for "adult material" how hilarious is that?
my girls have watched the show a couple of times. we are reading the books right now. we are in the book 'on silver lake' and jack dies. holy moly....i could barely get through it. my girls were staring at me with big eyes.

It makes my day that TVLand is showing little house at 5 every day now. Just when the day starts to be overwhelming!
Looking at those photos has given me the overwhelming urge to reread some of the books now.

Oh my word, I completely agree with you! He is a hottie with a body!!! I LOOOOOVE little house, and still watch it all the time. Remember the very last episode when they blew up the town???? And the one where Mary's baby dies in the fire? Such a great show! I always thought, man, that Laura is one lucky girl to have him for a dad, and hello, Caroline? I bet she loved her job! He was even sexier when he was mad. And lets not forget how hot he was when he cried! I could talk about this show forever, like i said I LOOOVE it!

Loved that show and the books and everything LHOP. He was probably the best looking tv dad of the times...no doubt!

And this is why I love you! Amen sister, always thought he was HOT...isn;t that why we watched that show? :)

Okay, again. Did you download my brain onto a memory stick? Anyhoo- cried / laughed watching the show - completely had a crush on Pa. My Dad's name was even Charles - but somehow...not the same. : ) I even cried when Michael Landon died. I adored the show. And, yes, I was Laura Ingalls for Halloween one year - way back!

this is disturbing... deeply, deeply disturbing...
Maybe I should introduce you to my counselor friend...
Admitting it is the first step to healing.

Oh, I loved that show! I cry when I see them too! They just remind me of life in my beanbag chair sitting in front of the tv as a kid!

lol, this post and the comments are too funny. I had a crush on him ever since I saw old Bonanza reruns (he was one of the sons).

this is so randomly hilarious - I love how you exposed yourself to an innermost crush.....some people love it and some hate it.
I always loved his voice and TAN skin....so weathered, so rugged. Love a hard-workin' man. (even one that wears a suit everyday in the city....)
what a fun trip down memory lane...
TOO funny!!
