My Best of the Best

We all have favorite items that make our days a little nicer.

Here are some of mine.

 

I love this mascara....LOVE it!  I have used it for years and will not use anything else if I can help it.

 

I buy these flip flops every year from J Crew.  I have them in multiple colors.  They are extremely comfy and I barely wear anything else all summer long.

 

 

You will smell all yummy all day with Lollia Wish lotion.  I love the whole Lollia line, but this is my favorite scent.

 

 

If you have ever walked into an Aveda salon you will know this one is a no brainer.  I would use all of their products everyday if I could afford it.  When I feel rich (which is really not often) I get all Aveda shampoos and conditioners and hoard it for a rainy day!!

 

 

This stuff is incredible!  My hair is on the dry side and one treatment of this and my hair feels softer all week.  I would recommend breaking the glass vile outside of the shower...not that I have ever cut myself or anything....

 

 

 
I  really love the American Beauty line of makeup from Kohls.  The lipstick I go back again and again to get is Desert Nude.  The shade is perfect for me.  I have to admit it is the only reason I go into Kohls..sorry you die hard Kohls fans!

 

 

My whole house will smell amazing when this candle is lit.  I get mine from Anthropologie.

 

How can a book get any better?

 

 

This is the most fabulous conditioner ever.  I found it on accident while vacationing in Napa.  The hotel conditioner just was not cutting it and I found it at a local salon.  I have since seen it all over...it works wonders!

 

Lincoln Park After Dark.  Just an incredible color.  This is my favorite color to wear on my toes.  It is such a dark purple that is looks almost black and it freaks out all the neighborhood children.

I am such a girly girl and LOVE this kind of stuff. My new addiction is from Fresh. Their sugar scrub is addicting it smell so lovely and makes your skin amazingly soft. They have a wonderful soy face cleanser- really good girly girl stuff.

i love this shampoo and conditioner called k from the icon line...i ran onto by accident at this surplus store, tried a bottle of it, then returned and bought it all up. now i am out and would have to buy it online from the salon and i can't afford it {gotta go now...i'm all teary and veclempt}

I love max factor mascara its just fab for my eyelashes, love dark rustic lippy & blush has to be Dior so worth it as lasts for ever.
So wish we had Anthopologie in OZ :( I am so with you on the polish that make is the best. Now go & pamper yourself with it all Elaine :)

Thanks for sharing your BEST list. I must agree with you on the WISH scent....it is the best!! I just wish I could find it in a shower wash. I will also check out the candle.

I completely agree with you on the Aveda goodies. They ROCK! I have to admit, I have bought that candle at Sisters Garden before. SHHHH, don't tell. It is dang good! My favorite perfume right now is Betsy Johnson. Every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments, and it comes in a really cool, funky bottle. I could go on and on, so i will quit now. Hi Jeanne! I to love that Loreal mascara and have used it 4 a long while. I love love love the Ameican Beauty Kohls. I am so not a fan of Kohls either, I go for bras though instead of the Dept. stores. I do use some bumble & bumble products too. I will visit you on Etsy today also at some point :)

Great list. I totally agree on both the Aveda and B&B hair products. The smell of Aveda's Rosemary Mint shampoo is pure heaven. There is an Aveda Institute here in Des Moines, and I am in the process of convincing myself that letting students cut my hair is worth the $$ left over to be spent on the products.

thanks for sharing your favorites Jeanne...i LOVE voluminous mascara too...i have also used it for years...the only thing i have found that works to straighten my dreaded curls is Aveda "hang straight"...i use it daily...i like that shade of lipstick...i like colors that are not too in your face...i will pick some up next time i am at Kohls...oh, and "to kill a mockingbird" *sigh*...i am SO in love with that book...i read it at least once a year, and fall in love with it all over again...i wish Harper Lee had written more novels...
