I have loved looking through the lovely photos of A Year of Mornings.
I love the story behind the book.
I love the collaboration and the outcome is stunning and simple.
I thought I would give it a try myself.
The result was MY mornings and the early hours through my eyes.
I put my camera next to my bed so I wouldn't forget!
I captured three mornings.
None of the photos have been edited so you can see the natural light.
It was such a fun experience and really helped me look at our home, light and mornings with a new perspective.
What do your mornings look like?

I love photographing and chronicling mornings. I did participate in a group about Beautiful Sundays and mine were always in the mornings. Maybe we can start a small group where, people take shots of their mornings once a week (or more) and share the why of the picture. Do you think that seems fun? Then create journals or an Apple book using the pictures. I'm rambling...too tired and too much wine...Anway - I'd love to work on something like that!

totally cool idea! my mornings are spent sitting on the back steps waiting for oscar to go poop. Yes, a very glamourous life I lead! But my morning always includes a pot, yes a POT of coffee! (with coconut creamer)

Lovely mornings! I think I will do this. I love the idea of looking at things in a new light and since my eyes are barely open for the first hour I'm awake, this 'otta be interesting. Thanks for the inspiriation.
